Where to Vote - October 24th, 2008

Thought I would see if there is a good national resource for voting locations.
The 2008 US Voter Info map on Google has been mentioned on several sites, so I gave it a shot, unfortunately this map does not tell me where to vote in my area.
I tried a few random areas and it does seem to have good information for larger metro areas.

Halloween and the Election - October 21st, 2008

2 things that scare me this year, Halloween and the Election.
Both have tricks involved, and both have some treats, just got to make sure I can identify which is which, lol.

Colin Powell Rocks YouTube? - October 20th, 2008

I never thought a Colin Powell video from Meet the Press would be a hot ticket, but here it is.
Whether you agree or disagree with him, he speaks so eloquently in this video, John McCain will probably vote for Barack Obama if he sees this.

Hot Trends Prediction - October 17th, 2008

This is not rocket science, and I am no rocket scientist, so take it with a grain of salt.
I just looked into my Crystal Browser and here are a few predictions for things we will see on Google Hot Trends this upcoming weekend. They are in no particular order.

Selena
Walk The Line
Johnny Cash
Final Destination
Adele

And here is the future link for these trends Saturday 10-18-08 and Sunday 10-19-08

National Grouch Day - October 15th, 2008

Happy, uh, Grouchy National Grouch Day to you !
I had no idea, and I know a whole bunch of people that must have October 15th mixed up with the other 364 days in the year, lol.
And yes, from what I can find, National Grouch Day is related to Sesame Street and their beloved Oscar the Grouch.

Internet Marketing Sales Pages - October 13th, 2008

Why do those obnoxious long sales pages work?
That has to be one of the great mysteries of the Internet. When I land on one of those pages I know what is coming and it makes me just want to close the browser.
They are basically all the same, so why in the world do they work?
Am I the only one on the Internet that thinks those long sales pages just look like spam?

Twitter Tattoos - October 12th, 2008

I am sure someone out there has a Twitter Tattoo, just look at the amount of Tweets on Tattoos!
This should not really be a surprise, Tattoos are extremely popular with the younger generations and these same people are big on technology and social networking on sites such as Twitter.

Mail Goggles Burnout - October 7th, 2008

It only took about an hour for me to be burned out on the topic of Mail Goggles. Google releases this little fun thing to keep people from sending email they will regret, and you would think that they just solved the economic crisis.
If you want to get dizzy just watch this Twitter Search about Mail Goggles.
Cmon people, enough already !

Niche Blogging - October 3rd, 2008

Niche Blogging seems to be very popular these days. There are all types of Niche Blogs, and the term has probably not really found it’s true definition yet, or maybe the definition is in need of expansion.  Some of these niche blogs are so focused it is more like a Micro Niche Blog.
And there are all types of programs and packages to help get a blogger started, such as our new The Niche Doctor site. If you have a Niche that needs scratching, come on over and visit.
